My journey to Mysore and Madikeri(Coorg)
we had decided to go on an excursion during the holidays on the occasion of Dasara which is widely celebrated in Karnataka.We had our car and holiday home booked. I had my engineering 2nd internals finished.Our family is like a wolf pack.We enjoy things together.
DAY 1:
This the picture before we left for Mysore.the car which we booked was Ciaz. The car was spacious enough.We had prepared Veg-Palau and curd rice to have it on our way to Mysore.We were already late.Had to run in hurry and excitement.
ON THE WAY TO CHAMUNDI HILL
We first visited Chamundi hill.we had a great view from the top of the hill.We had our breakfast there with an amazing view and cool breeze.On the way to Chamundi hill, my mom and dad kept chanting mantras. From there we went to nearby places, sand sculpture, and some local exhibition which was about horror room and wax monuments.
After visiting these places we went to see the procession, which takes place only during the Dasara season.I really don't recommend you watching the procession cause it's completely crowded and you won't even have the place to move around.there will be many drunk people.But unless you will have a pass which is sold online as well before the Dasara season, its well and good.Not so interest place. you will get frustrated.
It was around 5:30pm and we were hungry. We had idly and sambar from a local hotel.tasted okay.From there, we went to the Mysore palace.Lightings were going to begin.
